    The Kapu team has organised a competition open to everyone interested in winning up to 10,000 Kapu.

    The aim of the Archaeological KAPU competition is to collect information of archaeology that could benefit from the creation of an archaeological blockchain.

    Taking part in the competition is simple; snap a photo (selfie are welcomed), upload it to Twitter, give us information about the archaeology in the picture and tag KAPU team using: @kapucoin

    The Prizes available are:
    First Place: 10,000 KAPU
    First runner-up: 7,000 KAPU
    Second runner-up: 3,000 KAPU

    What is the judging criteria?
    How do we pick the winner? We have four simple criteria that makes a good picture.
    • Originality - is your photo something new that we won’t have seen before?
    • Impact - does your photo have a wow factor?
    • Reflection - how does you photo reflect KAPU potentials?
    • Caption - the way you caption your photo can really affect how we look at it!
    These are not strict guidelines, but hopefully will give you an idea of what our judges will be looking for when they go to choose the winning photo.

    This competition will close at 17:00 BST on Friday 20th October 2017. Winners will be announced at the launch event in Capua on Saturday 21st October 2017. Please read Terms & Conditions for more details.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. This competition is open to everyone, with the exception of KAPU team members as listed on the website (https://kapu.one) during the duration of this competition.

    2. This competition will commence at 12:00 BST on 25th September 2017 and all entries must be received by 17:00 BST on 20th October 2017. KAPU team accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach Kapu team by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

    3. Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish, but no entrant may win more than one prize..

    4. To enter, entrants must post a photo on Twitter with a caption and tagged with #kapucontest and @kapucoin

    5. All correctly completed entries will go through a judging panel consisting of five members of the KAPU Team. The judging criteria includes but is not limited to: originality, how the photo reflects KAPU potentials, overall impact, and the caption. The winner will be the person whose entry has received the highest scores by the judging panel. If an entrant has submitted multiple entries, only their highest placed entry shall be considered.

    6. The prize for the winner with the highest scored entry will be a 10,000 KAPU.

    7. The prize for the first runner-up with the second highest scored entry will be a 7,000 KAPU.

    8. The prize for the second runner-up with the third highest scored entry will be a 3,000 KAPU.

    9. Kapu Team’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

    10. The prizes are non-transferrable.

    11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, KAPU Team reserves the right to amend or foreclose the competition without notice.

    12. The winner will be notified via Twitter after the competition and judging has been concluded. The winner must claim their prize within 14 days of the KAPU Team sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the KAPU Team reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.

    13. By entering this competition each entrant confirms that his/her entry is their creation and not protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. Entrants will keep the KAPU Team harmless from any claims in relation to their entry that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other person. By submitting an entry, each entrant grants to the KAPU Team a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to edit, publish, modify, make available and distribute the entry throughout the world in any media now known or hereafter invented. Entries must not have been utilized for any other photo competition.

    14. Each entrant also confirms that anyone depicted in an entry has given their permission for the inclusion of their image in the entry and the use of the entry including their image by the entrant and the KAPU Team.
